Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and sales recording
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations
• Assist with food preparation, food safety practices, and proper food handling procedures as needed
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
• Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in fine dining, casual dining, or nightclub environments is a plus
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Food safety certification or experience with sanitation standards in the food industry is advantageous
