Yard Coordinator

We are looking for a Yard Coordinator to manage and maintain our outdoor inventory, ensuring equipment, machinery, and vehicles are organized, accounted for, and ready for use. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Load and unload equipment, trailers, and supplies using forklifts and other necessary machinery.
• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment for damage or missing parts.
• Assist with inventory tracking, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all yard assets.
• Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free yard environment.
• Provide support to customers picking up or returning rented equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and transportation of equipment as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role (yard coordination, warehouse management, or logistics) is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, trailers, ATVs, boats, or related machinery is preferred.
• Forklift experience and/or certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
