Yard Driver / Logistics Coordinator

Overview

8 PINE is looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Yard Driver / Logistics Coordinator. This position starts in the yard, building hands-on familiarity with our tools, concrete forms, scaffolding, and related accessories, while managing inventory and overseeing tool check-in/check-out.

Key Responsibilities

Yard & Inventory:

Learn and maintain a working knowledge of yard tools, concrete forms, scaffolding, and accessories.

Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize yard/warehouse storage.

Manage the tool check-in/check-out process, tracking condition and location of equipment.

Inspect returned tools and equipment; flag damaged or missing items for repair or replacement.

Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.

Logistics & Driving (upon CDL completion):

Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials, equipment, and supplies between the yard and job sites.

Coordinate delivery schedules and routes with the operations/project team.

Load and unload materials safely, following company and DOT procedures.

Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Maintain required driving logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.

Company-Sponsored CDL Training Program 8 PINE will pay for this employee to attend CDL school and obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License. In exchange for this investment, the employee agrees to the following terms:●8 PINE covers the cost of CDL-A training and certification. ●Upon successful completion and certification, starting pay increases from $20/hour to $25/hour. ●The employee agrees to work for 8 PINE for a minimum of three (3) years following completion of CDL-A certification.

If the employee leaves 8 PINE (voluntarily or for cause) before completing the 3-year commitment, the employee agrees to reimburse 8 PINE for the cost of CDL schooling and associated expenses, per the signed training repayment agreement.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
