YARD ENGINEER

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas fabrication yards, EPC projects, or offshore/onshore construction projects.

• Hands-on experience in fabrication and construction of:

  • Offshore Jackets
  • Topsides & Modules
  • Structural Steel
  • Piping Systems
  • Process Skids Mechanical Equipment

  Technical Skills

• Structural Steel & Piping Fabrication

• Welding & NDT Coordination

• Material Traceability & Weld Mapping

• Hydrotesting & Mechanical Completion

• Fabrication Drawings, P&IDs & Isometrics

• Production Planning & Progress Monitoring

• Lifting & Rigging Coordination

• QA/QC Documentation & Inspection Management

RESPONSABILITIES: Supervise fabrication, assembly, and erection activities for offshore jackets, topsides, modules, skids, structural steel, piping systems, pipe racks, and mechanical equipment.
Plan and monitor fabrication progress, manpower utilization, productivity, and equipment deployment.
Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review fabrication drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and material take-offs.
Monitor fit-up, welding, NDT, dimensional control, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and mechanical completion activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and client procedures.

• Coordinate inspections, punch-list clearance, system handovers, and turnover documentation.
