We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Yard Assistant to oversee our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for heavy machinery, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Title: Yard Assistant

Location: Bondurant, Iowa (on-site)

Pay: $22.00-28.00
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all yard operations, ensuring a smooth flow of trucks, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee the safe and efficient storage, organization, and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment.
• Coordinate with drivers and equipment operators to ensure equipment availability and proper use.
• Keep accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of yard staff to maintain high standards of performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or operational issues that arise on the yard.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operations and logistics.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in yard management, fleet management, or heavy equipment operations role.
• Strong knowledge of trucks, heavy machinery, and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
• A safety-first attitude and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus!
