We are looking for an experienced Yard Hostler/Shuttle Driver to join our team for immediate hire. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, safety-conscious driver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. As a Yard Hostler, you will be responsible for safely moving, positioning, and organizing trailers within the yard to support daily operations. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

-Safely operate company vehicles and semi-trailers in and between the yards.
-Move and position trailers within and between the yards to support rental, service, and sales.
-Safely connect, disconnect, and maneuver semi-trailers.
-Inspecting vehicle (yard goat) for mechanical items and safety issues prior & after use.
-Assist with general trailer-related duties as needed and other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

· 3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
· Valid CDL required.
· Clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations.
· Knowledge of trucking laws and safety regulations.
· Ability to lift 100+ pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching.

Pre-Employment Requirements

· Pre-employment drug screening required.
· Background check required.
· DMV record search required.

Position details

• Full-time
• Monday- Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Possible Overtime during busy times)
