Yard Loader Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loader to load and unload materials accurately and safely
• Manage yard organization by pushing, sorting, and storing aggregate materials efficiently
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery to ensure safety standards are met and perform daily greasing and maintenance checks
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself, team members and customers
• Collaborate with site supervisors to prioritize tasks
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and aggregate inventory
• Work directly with customers loading materials and using computer to record aggregate sale tickets and collect cash when necessary

Experience

• Proven experience operating front end loader
• Strong mechanical knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
• Previous construction site experience with familiarity in managing yard operations effectively
• Valid drivers license
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices related to equipment operation and yard management
• Experience working with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is advantageous
• Experience and general knowledge of aggregate materials is advantageous
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency
• Drug testing required

Pay: $26.00 - $30.65 per hour
