Yard Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to join our operations team in Rayong. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and organisation of our yard operations. As Yard Supervisor, you will oversee daily activities, manage inventory, coordinate with operational teams, and ensure all yard procedures comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to our production and logistics operations, directly supporting our commitment to delivering quality service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate yard staff, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, tracking materials and products within the yard to maintain accurate records

• Plan and schedule yard activities, including material handling, loading, unloading, and storage operations

• Ensure proper maintenance of yard equipment, vehicles, and facilities, reporting any issues requiring repair or replacement

• Conduct regular inspections of the yard to verify compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to optimise workflow and meet operational targets

• Maintain documentation and records related to yard operations, material movements, and personnel activities

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs

• Respond to operational challenges and resolve issues promptly to minimise disruptions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in yard operation, production, or logistics operations management (Scrap industry would be an advantage)

• Strong knowledge of material handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations

• Proven experience supervising and leading operational teams effectively

• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments

• Ability to work in a manufacturing or trading environment with understanding of production processes

• Problem-solving capability and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proficiency in English and Thai language for effective workplace communication
