About The Role We are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor with strong container handling experience to oversee the day-to-day operations of our containers yard. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the yard team and ensure our containers and freight are managed safely, efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities In This Role Will Include

• Lead and supervise the yard team
• Coordinate efficient and productive container yard operations
• Supervise container and trailer loading/unloading
• Ensure load restraints are correctly secured
• Maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment
• Identify and communicate operational issues to the Operations Manager
• Assist the team with urgent tasks and respond to customer, client and supplier requirements

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• Proven container handling/transport experience is essential
• Previous experience in a yard supervisory or team leadership role
• Understanding of load restraint and safe loading/unloading practices
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Current Driver's licence (HR or above highly advantageous)
• Current LF forklift licence
