Yard Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Yard Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of the plant yard, ensuring the safe, efficient and organized movement, storage, loading and dispatch of materials, finished products and equipment..

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Logistics, Operations or Warehouse Management will be advantageous.
• Minimum 7–10 years' experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years' supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be highly advantageous.
• Experience supervising loading, dispatch and material-handling activities.
• Forklift experience or knowledge of forklift operations will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position based in Clayville, South Africa. Prefer candidates in and around Gauteng, South Africa
