Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with order picking and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and timely fulfillment of shipments.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently, following OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard area, ensuring all materials are stored properly and hazards are minimized.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments with RF scanners and manual checks.
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to move materials within the yard or warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including OSHA guidelines, to promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or yard operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and materials handling.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery safely.
• Familiarity with operations including shipping & receiving processes.
• Basic math skills for measurements, weight calculations, and inventory counts.
• Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting tasks.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing warehouse workflows is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper use of material handling equipment operation.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
