Yard/Forklift Operators

We’re on the lookout for reliable and hard-working Yard and Forklift Operators to join our team in Christchurch.

We have full-time yard operator roles as well as casual event forklift opportunities.

Yard Operator - Long term- FulltimeWe have multiple long term placement opportunities. All yard roles are in outdoor environments and working with bulk product. Operator must have experience working with large freight and be confident working with fragile products. These roles are approximately three months with opportunity to extend.

• $25–$30 per hour pay negotiable depending on experience.

Events Forklift - Casual
To work as an event forklift driver you will need to be available on these dates: 
Saturday 28/11: 10:30pm-4:30am
**Sunday 29/11:**7:30am - 6pm
 
Role includes operating forklift in a busy pack down environment. You will be moving around fragile stage equipment off of stages and on to trucks. Must be experiences and confident in precision operating and able to stay calm in busy environments. Must have a minimum of two years' experience loading and unloading trucks.

• $27 per hour pay

Key responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• General yard duties and labouring (lifting, sorting, moving materials)
• Loading/unloading materials
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What we’re looking for:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential).
• F Endorsement (essential).
• OSH Certificate (essential)
• New Zealand Forklift experience is essential
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg regularly.
• Great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable, team-focused, and ready to get stuck in.
• Valid drivers License and own car(essential)
• Able to pass a drug test
