We are currently seeking a Yard Person/ Yard Hand to join the team at our Orange NSW site. This full-time role offers stable employment, a supportive team environment, and family-friendly hours.

About the role

This role involves warehouse and production operations, including loading and unloading freight, replenishing stock, assembling agricultural and industrial attachments, and managing inventory across yard and warehouse environments.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

No weekend work!

Key responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe yard environment
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight
• Assisting customers and drivers as required
• Operating forklifts and other equipment
• Replenish picking stock in the yard and warehouse
• Assist with stocktake and stock management
• Pick and pack warehouse transfer orders
• Label inventory upon receival
• Assisting workshop and operations staff with general duties
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble agricultural and industrial attachments
• Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components and products to meet customer specifications
• Utilise company systems and software to process orders and navigate warehouse
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About you

• Full Australian work rights (sponsorship is not available)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good teamwork and communication abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Forklift licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a production or assembly environment
• Previous experience in warehousing and/or yard management
• Previous experience with warehousing software (ERPs)
