About the role

We are seeking a utility yardman for our Warkworth based waste collections team. The full-time role is physically demanding, and you will spend your days outdoors, collecting waste from various locations. Your days will start early at 6am and you'll get to explore three different locations across the Auckland Region (Warkworth, Silverdale, and Whenuapai) to cover shortages in other branches when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Collecting waste from various locations
• Helping to maintain the site by keeping it clean
• Operating onsite forklift and loader
• Traffic management onsite
• Running for truck drivers when required
• Washing bins
• Interacting with the public and company drivers
• Potentially looking at a Tuesday-Sunday work week (negotiable)

About you

• At least 16 years old
• Full drivers licence
• WTR, F endorsements preferred
• Fit and healthy
• Reliable
• Expected to work hard and have positive attitude in sometimes challenging weather conditions
• Pre-employment drug testing required
• Subject to recurring random drug testing policy
