Year Round Day Shift Crew Member

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our day shift team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our café operates smoothly. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong food preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation and quality.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor.
• Sales skills to promote menu items effectively to customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced café environment.
• Previous experience in cash handling is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• This option is looking for employees who can commit to day shifts in the upcoming fall season in addition to current employment. Please refrain if you are a student that will be unavailable during the day in the fall.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.90 - $14.50 per hour
