Yield and Value Engineer

Qualifications

• Graduate of ECE, EE, or any Engineering-related course
• Strong background in Data Analysis and Yield Engineering, including statistical analysis, yield monitoring, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision making
• Proficient in Statistical Tools such as JMP (advanced data analysis, DOE, control charts) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, dashboards)
• Experience in Process Improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles; Yellow or Green Belt certification is an advantage
• Solid Project Management skills, including cross-functional coordination, timeline tracking, risk management, and execution of improvement initiatives
• Skilled in Data Visualization, creating clear and actionable dashboards, trend analysis, and management-ready reports
• Knowledge of Tester Control, including test data integrity, tester performance monitoring, and process optimization
• Experience in HDD / Magnetic Head manufacturing, with strong understanding of magnetic head testing, yield drivers, and failure mode
