We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Contract Yoga Instructor for kids and adults, to join our wellness community and offer in-person yoga classes that support relaxation, movement, balance, and overall well-being.

Position Overview

We welcome yoga instructors with a variety of teaching styles who are passionate about helping others experience the benefits of yoga. Whether your strengths are in gentle yoga, restorative practices, Hatha, Vinyasa, breathwork, mindfulness, or another yoga tradition, we would love to learn more about your approach.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring yoga at their own pace.

This is an independent contractor opportunity with a flexible schedule and the potential to develop classes that align with your expertise and the needs of our wellness community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, safe, and accessible in-person yoga classes.
• Create a peaceful, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for participants of varying experience levels.
• Provide clear instruction on yoga poses, breathing techniques, alignment, and mindfulness, as appropriate to your teaching style.
• Offer modifications and alternatives to accommodate different abilities and comfort levels.
• Encourage relaxation, body awareness, and a positive connection between mind and body.
• Prepare the teaching space before classes and leave it clean and organized afterward.
• Communicate professionally regarding scheduling, class planning, and participant needs.
• Contribute to the supportive, holistic atmosphere of Healing Trails Healing Space.

Qualifications

• Yoga teacher certification or equivalent training and experience appropriate to the classes offered.
• Experience teaching yoga in group or individual settings preferred.
• Knowledge of safe movement, appropriate modifications, and mindful teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, compassionate, and inclusive teaching style.
• Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
• A genuine interest in holistic wellness and supporting others on their wellness journeys.

Contract Position Details

• In-person classes held at Healing Trails Healing Space.
