Yoga Instructor

Spiritual Heart Yoga Center (SHYC) is a sacred space to practice yoga and connect with community.

We are a boutique, community focused yoga studio, seeking passionate and experienced yoga instructors to join our beloved team. The ideal candidate will lead yoga classes, create a positive environment, and motivate yogis to improve their health and wellness through a regular yoga practice. We are in need of growing our sub list, with opportunities for regular classes. We are looking for long term commitment, reliable and ready to grow candidates.

Must be experienced in teaching hatha, hatha flow, gentle, restorative, and yin classes. 200 hour RYT required. If you are dependable, consistent, flexible and want to be a part of an incredible community this is the position for you.

Early mornings & weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for participants of all levels

• Provide guidance on proper yoga techniques and alignment to prevent injuries

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for all participants

-Membership & boutique sales

• Educate clients on the benefits of yoga practice for physical and mental well-being

• Encourage yogis to attend classes consistenly and build the community at the studio

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor and 200 hour RYT

• Knowledge of various yoga styles and ability to teach different levels of classes

• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate others

• Familiarity with fitness sales, boutique yoga studio operations is a plus

• Able to check in clients, sell memberships, open & close studio

• Mindbody software system experience a plus
