In this role, you will help create safe, engaging, positive environments that foster growth, learning, and positive social interactions. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being.
• Provide homework help to youth.
• Supervise children during various activities including arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times.
• Provide first aid and emergency response when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
• Support children with varying needs by adapting activities.
• Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and community partners to encourage ongoing engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and incident reporting to support program accountability.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• Pass Background Check
• Certification in first aid and CPR (Or able to obtain within 3 months of hiring)
• Must be able to assist youth with homework from grades K - 11th
• Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a respectful manner.
• Preferred experience in childcare
• Passion for working with youth and a commitment to fostering their growth through engaging activities.
• Must be able to occasionally lift upwards of 40lbs

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
