Youth Development Specialist – Evening Shift (3 PM–11 PM)

$20–$22 per hour | $4,000 Sign-On Bonus | 4-Day Workweek

Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, including a full shift every other weekend

We work with youth facing behavioral and mental health challenges in a structured residential setting. Our Youth Development Specialists provide guidance, consistency, encouragement, and support to help young people build life skills and work toward a brighter future.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and engage with youth in a residential setting.
• Build positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Help manage challenging behaviors and de-escalate situations when needed.
• Support daily routines, recreational activities, and life skills development.
• Encourage accountability, positive choices, and personal growth.
• Follow established safety procedures and program expectations.
• Work collaboratively with your team to provide consistent care and support.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable, patient individuals who can remain calm in challenging situations, maintain appropriate boundaries, and work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass the required background check.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned evening schedule, including every other weekend.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Evening shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
• Full shift every other weekend.
• Four-day workweek for applicable schedules.
• Full-time and part-time opportunities.
• In-person position in Plankinton, South Dakota.
