The Live Red Foundation (a 501c3 corporation) envisions a world where youth believe they CAN. We are making this world a reality everyday through our programs and events which provide opportunity, mentorship, education, and empowerment to children in at-risk communities. We are looking for a Program Coach to facilitate Live Red programming in low-opportunity neighborhoods at numerous locations in the Greater Richmond area. The ideal candidate will have experience as a coach or facilitating fitness programs and have a passion for uplifting youth in our community. Candidates should contain the following skills:

• Super reliable
• Highly organized
• Excellent time management
• Adaptable to changes
• Public speaking

Role Overview:

The Program Coach’s primary responsibility is to facilitate Live Red programming at multiple locations in Richmond's lowest-opportunity neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all required training with the Program Coordinator.
• Arrive at the program site with time to set up and start programs on time.
• Keep a record of participation at each program.
• Lead fitness programs with excellence.
• Administer evaluative tools as assigned.
• Report participation, evaluations, and additional information as necessary to the Program Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Ability to complete background checks as requested by program sites.
• Personal vehicle or access to reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in a childcare, coaching, fitness, or summer camp setting.
• Knowledge of exercise form and body placement for safety and injury prevention.
• Ability to stand and demonstrate exercises in a variety of environmental conditions for at least an hour.

Logistics:

The position is a part-time position consisting of 8-16 hours/week Monday to Thursday. There are also opportunities to sub for other classes to earn more pay.
