Youth Program Coordinator

· Oversee the daily operations of all youth programming and facility.

· Evaluate the program, to ensure that planned activities are relevant to the needs of youth in the community.

· Be an active member on various community committees, and advocate for the youth that we work with when participating in discussions.

· Be the liaison between the youth and the Community Wellness and Public Safety Advisory Committee by participating in meetings.

· Assist in the administrative tasks of the Advisory Committee as required such as minute taking, meeting planning, etc.

· Advocate on behalf of the youth in the community, based on the needs identified by staff and youth.

· Ensure that program expenditures are on target with their approved budget.

· Ensure the completion of all required reporting as outlined in the various funding agreements.

· Maintain a high degree of coordination and monitoring of youth programs, services, and activities.

· Ensure that program activities are consistent with the overall planned goals and objectives.

· In collaboration with the youth staff, prepare a monthly calendar.

· Directly supervise youth staff to ensure that they are fulfilling all aspects of their duties and responsibilities as outlined in their job description and as directed.

· Assist in resolving conflict situations which may arise.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
