We're looking for a dedicated Youth Support Worker to play a key role in delivering our LGBTQ+ Project, including Step Out, our youth group for LGBTQ+ young people aged 11-16. You'll provide group work, one-to-one support, advocacy and guidance, helping young people navigate challenges, build confidence and develop positive relationships in a safe, inclusive environment.

Working as part of our wider youth support team, you'll also contribute to our Flipside and ReachOut projects, supporting young people experiencing vulnerability, exploitation, offending-related risks and other challenges through trauma-informed, relationship-based practice.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years' experience working with young people.
  • A strong commitment to supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ young people.
  • Understanding of issues affecting LGBTQ+ communities and young people's wellbeing.
  • Experience of building trusted relationships and delivering engaging youth work activities.
  • A commitment to inclusion, equality and empowering young people's voices.

Join us in helping LGBTQ+ young people make informed decisions and take positive steps towards their future.
