About the Organisation

The Feathers Association is a dynamic and well-established charity dedicated to transforming lives and communities. Since 1934, we’ve provided children, young people, and communities in London with opportunities for growth through informal education, sports, culture, and recreational activities.

With a modern youth and community centre in Westminster, we create life-changing experiences for communities through our exceptional range of facilities, including a Media Lounge, Music Studio, Sports Hall, Astro Turf Pitch, and Recreational room.

As our charity undertakes an ambitious expansion, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative initiative.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team and support the delivery of youth services within our youth and community centre. The role focuses on youth engagement, participation, outreach and the delivery of high-quality programmes that support young people's personal, social and educational development.

Working closely with the Youth Manager, you will help deliver a diverse programme of youth activities, education and training opportunities, employability initiatives and outreach projects that create positive outcomes for young people across the Marylebone community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about youth work who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young people while contributing to the continued development of one of London's most established youth and community organisations.

Our centre operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This role requires flexibility, and successful candidates will be expected to work their hours across these operational times to meet the needs of the service and its participants.
