YouTube Content Editor

Job Summary:
We’re seeking someone to step in as a skilled and dependable YouTube Video Editor and produce polished, faceless educational videos for our channel. This seat suits someone who pairs strong editing craft with genuine, in-depth knowledge of YouTube’s content policies and takes pride in work that is both creative and fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce faceless educational YouTube videos of about 10–14 minutes from the scripts provided
• Turn written scripts into engaging visuals with footage, graphics, text overlays, and animation where it suits
• Bring a clean, modern editing style in line with current YouTube standards and viewer expectations
• Check that every video fully meets YouTube’s content policies, community guidelines, and copyright rules, keeping the channel safe from strikes or restrictions

• Handle revisions efficiently and keep quality consistent across every video
• Keep project files, assets, and versions organized for a smooth production workflow
• Keep communication proactive on progress, timelines, and possible issues
• Work directly with the business owner to develop the channel’s visual style over time

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos, ideally faceless or narration-led content
• Deep familiarity with YouTube content policies, community guidelines, and copyright rules, including how strikes, claims, and channel restrictions happen and how to avoid them
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Strong sense of modern editing style: pacing, motion graphics, text animation, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work accurately from supplied scripts and translate them faithfully into video
• Diligent, organized, and independent
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback

Preferred Skills:

• Experience creating animated or motion-graphics-based explainer videos
• Background editing educational, informational, or business-focused content
• Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools (e.g., AI scriptwriting or voiceover platforms)
• Basic knowledge of YouTube SEO, titles, and thumbnails
• Experience running the full production workflow for a single channel

Why Join Us:
You’ll work directly with the business owner in a focused, dedicated role, and your videos will be the core of the channel rather than one of many competing projects. With scripts supplied in full, you can devote your energy to what you do best: crafting high-quality, modern videos. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with room to grow as the channel expands.
