Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of YouTube content, storytelling, audience retention, and modern editing techniques. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand and maximize viewer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos.
• Create engaging intros, outros, transitions, and motion graphics.
• Add captions, sound effects, background music, and visual effects where appropriate.
• Improve pacing and storytelling to maximize audience retention.
• Color correct and enhance video/audio quality.
• Design or collaborate on thumbnails and visual branding.
• Repurpose long-form content into YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media formats.
• Ensure videos meet YouTube best practices and platform requirements.
• Manage project files and deliver edits within agreed deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of YouTube editing styles and audience engagement.
• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
• Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and video compression.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
