YOUTUBE SPCIALIST

The YouTube Specialist is responsible for taking ownership of assigned YouTube channels and helping them grow into strong, monetized, high-performing digital assets.

This role requires someone who understands YouTube strategy, content performance, viewer psychology, packaging, search optimization, Shorts growth, audience behavior, and platform monetization.

The ideal candidate should be able to think strategically while also executing practically — from channel optimization and content publishing to thumbnail design direction, metadata optimization, retention analysis, short-form content repurposing, and audience engagement.

This person will be expected to identify growth opportunities, improve underperforming content, help maximize monetization potential, increase visibility, optimize channel performance, and support long-term sustainable channel growth.

The right candidate understands that success on YouTube requires more than publishing content — it requires strategy, optimization, consistency, audience retention, community engagement, and smart execution.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong experience managing, growing, or optimizing YouTube channels professionally.
• Deep understanding of YouTube growth strategy, channel monetization, audience behavior, retention, and platform performance.
• Strong working knowledge of YouTube SEO, metadata optimization, discoverability strategy, and search performance.
• Experience with Shorts strategy, short-form optimization, and repurposing long-form content for growth.
• Strong understanding of thumbnails, video packaging, click psychology, and performance optimization.
• Experience interpreting analytics and using performance data to guide content decisions.
• Strong written communication skills for titles, descriptions, captions, and channel messaging.
• Understanding of audience engagement, community management, and platform interaction.
• Commercial awareness and performance-driven thinking.
• Highly organized, proactive, strategic, and accountable.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
