Duties

• Prepare high-quality food items following established recipes and safety standards using kitchen equipment and food handling techniques
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling procedures
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety protocols, and proper food handling practices throughout your shift
• Manage food service customer order management efficiently to ensure timely delivery of orders and minimize wait times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts to uphold a welcoming environment
• Process cash transactions accurately while balancing cash register operations at the end of each shift

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and ovens
• Proven ability in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and using POS systems like Aloha or Micros
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
• Customer service experience demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic math proficiency for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and order processing
