Job Description:

• Full time and part-time
• Weekends required, full availability
• MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. ZIP LINE EXPERIENCE A PLUS.
• 40 hour training week
• Must be upbeat and personable
• Must possess good communication and leadership skills
• Must be organized and able to work with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email, web browsers, etc.)

Your Job would entail:

Zip Line Requirements:

• Clip-in participants at every zip line
• The safety of our guests is of utmost importance
• Entertainment of guests for up to 3 hours per tour

Course Manager Requirements:

• Observe zip line guides daily to ensure they are doing their job based on the training they have received.
• Participate in the training of new zip line staff, including ongoing recertification and lead guide training.
• Keep up-to-date documentation of zip line guide certifications and communicate recertification scheduling needs to the scheduling personnel.
• Assist in rescues or anything needed on the course throughout the business day.
• Communicate with office staff to ensure tours are going out on time and efficiently.
• Assist with course maintenance.

Promotion to Course Manager is subject to passing Assistant Zip Line Tour Guide and Lead Zip Line Tour Guide training while showing the following:

• Leadership, professionalism, and good communication skills required of management.
• Physical skills required to be a Course Manager.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Maintain full availability required of management

Failure to maintain the above requirements does not necessarily result in termination, however, you will not be eligible for a management position. The time frame for the promotions leading to the Course Manager position is approximately 90-120 days after passing Assistant Guide training. Hourly rate will begin at $16 per hour and increase with advancement stages up to the Course Manager hourly rate of $20 per hour. More details can be given during the interview process.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be available to work every weekend (BOTH Saturday and Sunday) and holidays (excluding Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
• Must be available for 1 week training (November 5 - November 11 from 8 am until 5 pm)
