Job description - Zonal CA's

1. Financial Control & Reporting Ensure accurate accounting and monthly closure of store accounts. Monitor store-wise profitability and financial performance. Review revenue, gross margin, and expense variances. Prepare MIS reports for management review.

2. Inventory Control Monitor stock reconciliation and inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures. Review physical stock verification reports. Monitor inventory losses, shortages, and wastage.

3. Cash & Banking Operations Ensure timely bank deposits and reconciliation. Monitor cash collections and POS settlements. Review payment receipts and store petty cash. Strengthen controls over cash handling processes.

4. Compliance & Audit Coordinate internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies. Close audit observations within stipulated timelines.

5. Cost Management Monitor and control store operating expenses. Analyze manpower, rent, utility, and administrative costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities.

6. Business Partnering Provide financial insights to Regional and Store Managers. Assist in budgeting and forecasting. Support management decisions through financial analysis.

7. Process Improvement & Controls Implement financial controls across stores. Automate and streamline reporting processes. Train store accountants on compliance and financial procedures.

8. Head Office Finance Support Assist Finance Head in special assignments. Support monthly and annual closing activities. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting. Prepare financial analysis for management decisions.

9. Domestic & International Store Support Support finance functions of overseas stores. Assist in implementation of accounting processes in new stores. Review international compliance requirements.
