z/OS Systems Programmer (Contract)

Duration: 3–4 months (until January/February 2027)

Start Date: ASAP – Immediate joiners preferred

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced z/OS Systems Programmer to support internal customers with a z/OS upgrade from version 2.5 to 3.1.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute z/OS upgrade activities.
• Install, configure, and upgrade ISV software.
• Perform compatibility testing and troubleshooting.
• Support post-upgrade validation and system stability.

Requirements

• Strong experience in z/OS System Programming and administration.
• Hands-on experience with ISV software installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Experience with SMP/E, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to join immediately is highly preferred.

Other Information

• Short-term contract for approximately 3–4 months.
• No GDPR or other compliance restrictions for external consultants.
