Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reports and compliance for Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co., Ltd and owner of one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1 Logistics Hub.

Key responsibilities

1.     Manage full set of accounts

2.     Prepare monthly group consolidation and quarterly reporting pack

3.     Assist Finance General Manager/Finance Manager to meet the group reporting requirements and deadlines

4.     Assist in the annual budget for Group/entities

5.     Assist in year-end closing and reporting for Group/entities

6.     Review of monthly cash flow forecast for Group/entities

7.     Review Monthly audit schedules and tax computations prepared by GL team members

8.     Assist the Finance General Manager/Finance Manager to manage Reporting team

9.     Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

About you

1.     Degree in Accounting or ACCA

2.     At least 3 years of relevant experiences

3.     Meticulous and analytical with numbers

4.     Proficiency in SAP is an advantage

5.     Able to read Chinese financial reporting
