Design Engineer

Position : Design Engineer in R&D Department

Experience : Design Engineer in R&D with 2-4 years of experience in New Product Design and Development for Location in Nandigram, Gujrat.

Function Segment: Research and Development

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days.

Qualification: B. Tech/B.E. - Mechanical, Production/Industrial

Location: Nandigram, Gujrat Plant (near Bhilad and Vapi)

Job Summary: New Product Design and Development of Tinting equipment such as Dispensers, Mixer and Shaker.

Job Description:

• Design and development of sheet metal and plastic components using PTC CREO 4.0 and above version
• Operational experience in PTC CREO 4.0 is mandatory.
• Able to understand product requirements and ability to create and communicate innovative design concepts.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• General understanding of engineering material, sheet metal design, plastic design, manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
• Knowledge specific machine elements like gear, shaft, pulleys, drive mechanism.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFA, engineering standards.
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping and different processes.
• Experience in design change management, engineering change management, drawing release.
• Coordinate and collaborate with industrialization, quality, production and cross-functional team for design feasibility.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and design specifications.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing-related issues and provide suitable engineering solutions.
• Candidates with experience in manufacturing and industrial machinery would be preferred.
