Engineering Mechanical (Fitting & Machining) Apprenticeship

What you’ll do -

Whilst studying a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Dismantle and assemble motors while utilising all measurement equipment
• Operate lathes, mills, drill presses, and balancing machine
• Work with hand tools, spray painting, grit blasting, and basic welding
• Install and remove machines, onsite mechanical works
• Actively participate in toolboxes and UAP program

What we’re looking for -

• Commitment to both on and off the job training
• Strong mechanical aptitude with desire to continue learning
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable working in a team while providing honest and accurate feedback to supervisors and colleagues
• Confidence with physical tasks around heavy tooling and machines

Must-haves -

• Willingness to obtain National Police Check
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical (audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity assessment)
• Drivers Licence (P1 and above)
• Willingness to obtain White Card
