Emerald Textiles is in the search for a Janitorial Worker to join our team.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Chief Engineering Manager, the Janitorial Worker cleans and maintains assigned areas to meet customers and client satisfaction.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc.
• Equipment cleaning surfaces, machinery and furniture to avoid build up of dust and lint.
• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleaning counter tops, cleaning microwaves, cleaning coffee and tea equipment, cleaning up caterings, cleaning conference rooms, and cleaning lunchroom area.
• Emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, and cleaning windows.
• Performing Housekeeping duties to include scrubbing, dust mopping and wet mopping floors, furniture dusting, cleaning and replenishing restrooms supplies
• Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by performing housekeeping using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors.
• Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Constantly required to stand
• Frequently required to bend
• Frequently required to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally required to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
