Senior Cost Control Executive

Creo Homes is looking for a Senior Cost Control Executive with strong experience in construction costing and project cost monitoring.

The role is responsible for tracking and controlling project expenses, identifying cost variations, monitoring material and subcontractor costs, and helping ensure that projects are completed within the approved budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and maintain project-wise cost sheets and budgets.

* Monitor actual project expenses against approved budgets.

* Track costs related to materials, labour, subcontractors, vendors and other project expenses.

* Prepare regular budget vs. actual cost reports.

* Identify cost overruns and variations at an early stage and report them to the concerned department heads and management.

* Monitor material consumption, wastage and abnormal cost variations at project sites.

* Review BOQs, estimates, purchase requirements, vendor quotations and subcontractor rates from a cost perspective.

* Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts and other departments to collect and verify cost information.

* Monitor purchase orders and work orders against the approved project budget.

* Track committed costs, actual expenses and expected upcoming expenses for each project.

* Prepare cost-to-complete forecasts for ongoing projects.

* Monitor subcontractor bills and vendor costs against approved rates and quantities.

* Identify unnecessary expenditure and recommend practical cost-saving measures.

* Assist in analysing project-wise profitability and margins.

* Compare estimated costs with final project costs after completion.

* Maintain historical cost data to improve future project estimates and budgeting.

* Prepare weekly and monthly Cost Control MIS reports for management review.

* Ensure all project cost records are accurate and regularly updated.

Qualification & Experience

* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction cost control, quantity surveying, estimation or project costing.

* B.Tech/B.E. Civil Engineering or relevant qualification preferred.

* Good understanding of BOQ, construction materials, labour rates, subcontractor works and project execution.

* Experience in residential construction is preferred.

* Interior project costing experience will be an added advantage.

* Strong knowledge of MS Excel and cost reporting.

* Good analytical and numerical skills.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and project teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be experienced enough to independently monitor project costs and identify cost leakage before it becomes a major overrun.

The person should be practical, detail-oriented and comfortable working closely with both the site and office teams.

Minimum Experience: 5 Years

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
