Context

A health insurance organization is running a pilot to move developers from scattered experimentation with large language model tools, mainly Claude, to structured use of Claude Code and shared practices. The pilot involves 13 to 15 developers from 5 to 6 teams, covering data engineering, data science, platform and process automation engineering, code analysis, and test automation. Claude Team licences are available, and Claude Code is set up for use in the command line and Visual Studio Code. Network whitelisting has been validated and DPO approval obtained. Infrastructure configuration is included in the mission.

An internal project manager and two technical leads will drive the pilot and ensure continuity after the engagement. The intended next step is to extend the rollout to around 40 developers and subsequently to other technical profiles.

Mission

Coach the pilot group on Claude Code best practices, establish shared foundations, and assess the value of the tool to prepare for a wider rollout. The mission runs from early November to mid-December 2026 and is part-time, with several days of support spread over 6 to 7 weeks.

Principales responsabilités

• Review the existing internal questionnaire, assess whether it provides a sufficient baseline, and add targeted questions if needed.

• Use questionnaire responses to assess participants’ starting point and form workshop groups based on their interests and needs.

• Deliver a half-day plenary discovery session of approximately 3 hours covering Claude Code foundations, project configuration, CLAUDE.md and other instruction files, skills, agents, and safe use.

• Run hands-on workshops on real repositories, with priority topics including infrastructure-as-code development with AWS CDK, code quality and code review, and reusable skills and shared configuration.

• Propose a framework for measuring value during the pilot, including time saved, quality, adoption, and whether workload is shifted rather than merely accelerated.

• Incorporate security and access constraints into recommended practices.

• Attend a 30-minute weekly coordination meeting with the core team.

• Support two experience-sharing sessions (“Claude Café”): one after the first workshops and one immediately after the final restitution.

• Present pilot results, measured value, and recommendations for scaling to about 40 developers.

Profil recherché

Expérience

• Hands-on experience using Claude Code, including configuration, skills, and agents

• Experience with a similar AI coding tools adoption mission in development teams

• Ability to measure and report the value of AI coding tools

Compétences techniques

• Claude Code configuration, skills, and agents

• Python and AWS CDK are assets

• Value measurement for AI coding tools

Compétences personnelles

• Ability to coach developers and facilitate plenary sessions and hands-on workshops

• Ability to develop shared practices and support teams through tool adoption

Langues

• English and French; sessions are held in English, with occasional explanations in French

Organisation pratique

• Location: on-site in Brussels at least for the discovery session and workshops.

• Workshops are concentrated in the first half of November. The week of 11 November may have absences due to a public holiday.

• Monday and Thursday are preferred working days; Wednesday is excluded.

• Consultants do not have access to the organization’s tenant; documents are exchanged as files.

• The offer should estimate the number of man-days by phase, include the daily rate excluding VAT, provide a timeline with start and end dates for each phase, describe the proposed approach, provide examples of previously delivered skills or configurations, and identify the proposed consultant profile.
