About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and autonomous AI Solutions Analyst & Engineer to join our Life Digital Solutions team. In this hybrid role, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption and implementation of Generative AI solutions within our business line. You will lead the delivery of high-impact projects, including the development of an enterprise-grade chatbot using LLM technologies, from initial discovery through to deployment and continuous improvement.

Working closely with our internal AI Center of Competence and IT colleagues, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technical possibilities. Your mission is to capture requirements, design and refine LLM-based workflows, and ensure that our AI initiatives are not only innovative but also secure, controlled, and aligned with our strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of GenAI-powered projects (discovery, build, test, rollout).

• Business Analysis: Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and executable backlog items.

• Solution Design & Engineering: Design and iterate on LLM-based workflows, including prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, and evaluation frameworks.

• Collaboration: Partner with the central AI Center of Expertise (Data, ML, Architecture, Security) to ensure successful and compliant deployment.

• Testing & Evaluation: Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for LLM solutions, including the creation of golden datasets, regression tests, safety tests, and adversarial prompts.

• Monitoring & Improvement: Implement logging and monitoring for key quality signals such as response accuracy, groundedness, latency, and cost, driving continuous improvement.

• Community Building: Help create awareness and foster a deeper understanding of AI across the department through clear communication and structured storytelling.

• Documentation: Develop and maintain playbooks, training materials, and runbooks for knowledge transfer.

Profile & Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree.

• Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years working specifically with GenAI/LLM-based solutions.

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience delivering conversational AI or chatbot solutions end-to-end, ideally in a regulated environment (e.g., finance, insurance).

Required Skills

• Business & Functional:

  • Strong ability to understand operational workflows and design fit-for-purpose solutions.

  • Experience in Agile delivery practices (backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria).

  • Expertise in designing test suites and defining evaluation metrics for LLM solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Technical:

  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and Copilot M365.

  • Experience with data & reporting solutions (PowerBI, Azure DataBricks, Azure DataLake).

  • Programming skills (Python, SQL).

  • Hands-on experience with LLM solutions and GenAI technologies.

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch or French.

• Good working proficiency in the other national language (French or Dutch).

• Professional proficiency in English.
