ALDI - Château chocolade Private Label Retail Packaging – Packaging Design & Brand Naming

Packaging Design for Château Chocolate Bar by Stepfive Stepfive developed the packaging design for Aldi Netherlands’ private label Château and its new chocolate bar variants: Choco Cooky and Choco Biscy. The objective was to create a modern design with an “eco feel,” aligning with the brand’s vision and sustainability ambitions. The packaging features a bold purple base color, enhanced with clear flavor coding and modern typography. This design direction gives the product a premium, A-brand look that stands out on shelf and reflects the quality of the chocolate inside.

The objective was to develop a modern, eco-inspired design that also conveys a premium look and feel. The design is fully tailored to the pyramid shape of the chocolate, featuring clean flavor coding and contemporary typography. Through the strategic use of color and typographic elements, the packaging achieves an A-brand appearance, helping the product stand out on the shelf while making a strong, luxurious first impression.
