AWS Architect / DevOps Engineer (Part-Time / Contractor)

Descriptif du poste We are looking for a mid-to-senior AWS Architect / DevOps Engineer to support the evolution of our AWS cloud platform.

This is a part-time contractor role (~20% FTE), ideal for an experienced cloud professional who wants to work on a modern, AI-enabled, AWS-native platform. You will play a key role in shaping a scalable, and reliable cloud architecture, while defining DevOps best practices and ensuring cost efficiency, security, and resiliency.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and evolving our AWS architecture, with a strong focus on:
  • Cost efficiency and optimization
  • Scalability and performance
  • Security and compliance
  • Reliability and resiliency
• Designing and evolving the cloud foundations required to embed AI into the platform, including:
  • AI/ML workloads, experimentation, and deployment
  • Integration of foundation models and AI services into production workflows
  • Data pipelines and observability suited for AI-driven features
• Defining and documenting cloud, DevOps, and MLOps-oriented best practices for the engineering team
• Setting up and maintaining tools and processes for:
  • Monitoring and alerting (including AI workloads)
  • Logging and observability
  • Backup, recovery, and data lifecycle management
• Ensuring a clean, consistent, and well-organized AWS resource structure
• Setting up, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, including support for AI-related deployments and infrastructure
• Acting as a technical advisor to the team on architecture, DevOps, and AI platform topics

You will work on an AWS-native, serverless-heavy stack including: IoT Core, Cognito, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amplify, CDK, CloudWatch, and WAF.

Profil recherché

• Mid-to-senior experience as an AWS Architect and/or DevOps Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless architectures
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK preferred)
• Experience designing platforms that integrate AI/ML capabilities into production systems
• Familiarity with one or more of SageMaker, Bedrock, MLOps concepts
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud security best practices
  • Cost optimization, including AI-related costs
  • High-availability and resiliency patterns
• Experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally including AI or data workloads
• Detail-oriented, structured, and pragmatic mindset
• Able to work autonomously and communicate clearly with engineers and founders
• One or more AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, ML Specialty is a plus)
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments is a plus
• Eligible and comfortable working on missions compatible with CII / CIR tax incentive frameworks
• Based in Europe, working in a European timezone
• Fluent in English (working language)

Déroulement des entretiens The selection process includes an initial screening, followed by a general interview with our CTO (conducted in English). Shortlisted candidates will then proceed to a technical interview with members of the R&D team.
