Flexible Funeral Service Operative

We are recruiting a professional, caring and conscientious person to join our award winning team as a Funeral Service Operative (FSO) on a flexible basis (as and when required)

Hours are varied and on an 'at need' basis along with joining our rota to assist the Funeral Directors with our 'Out of Hours' service. Candidates should reside locally (approx. 20mins) to ensure we can facilitate our out of hours service.

Duties will include:

• Driving our ceremonial vehicles on the day of the funeral
• Ensuring all company processes and procedures are followed accurately and thoroughly
• Be part of the team supporting the funeral director ensuring funerals run smoothly
• Maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment to the highest standards
• Assisting the team when bringing a loved one into our care
• Furnishing coffin's in line with a clients wishes
• Assisting the team covering our 'out of hours' rota

The position would suit:

• Be professional and have high standards of personal presentation
• Be able to perform physically challenging tasks
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Full UK Drivers License (Must be over 21 years old for insurance purposes)

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.71 per hour
