HRIS / Payroll Transformation Consultant – Spain

We are looking for a senior HRIS / Payroll transformation consultant to support a European SaaS scale-up in the digitalization and structuring of its payroll processes in Spain, following recent international growth and acquisitions.

Today, several HR and payroll processes within the Spanish entity are still managed manually (notably payroll preparation via Excel). The objective of this mission is to audit the current setup and implement a modern HRIS / payroll solution adapted to the Spanish market.

The consultant will work directly with the HR and Finance leadership team and play a key role in structuring scalable HR operations.

Scope of the mission

Phase 1 – Audit & HRIS Strategy

• Review current HR and payroll processes in Spain

• Map workflows for payroll preparation, variable compensation and absences

• Identify operational risks and inefficiencies

• Benchmark and recommend suitable HRIS / payroll solutions for Spain

• Define the target architecture and implementation roadmap

Phase 2 – Implementation & Deployment

• Support the selection of the HRIS / payroll solution

• Lead the implementation and configuration of the selected tool

• Structure payroll workflows and HR operations

• Coordinate internal stakeholders and potential external providers

• Oversee data migration and system rollout

• Ensure adoption by local HR teams

Profile

• 8+ years of experience in HRIS / payroll transformation projects

• Strong knowledge of the Spanish payroll ecosystem

• Proven experience implementing HRIS or payroll platforms

• Ability to lead operational transformation projects in fast-growing environments

• Fluent Spanish and English

Daily rate: depending on experience
