Job description – IBP AMS Support Pilot

Context and mission objective

The organization is implementing an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution based on Kinaxis Maestro. This is described as a transformational project rather than a pure IT implementation project. The program covers three main pillars: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Production Planning. The go-live of the Demand Planning module is planned for summer 2026, followed by Supply Planning at the beginning of 2027, with Production Planning to follow.

To support the Kinaxis solution in run mode, including solution monitoring, incident resolution, and enhancements, an IT Center of Excellence is being set up and will rely on an AMS (Application Management Services) team for day-to-day activities. As part of this IT COE, the IBP AMS Support Pilot will coordinate all AMS team activities.

Main responsibilities

1. Transition from project to run mode
- Support the transition from project mode to run mode
- Support the onboarding of the AMS team
- Define procedures and ways of working
- Support the implementation of data monitoring tools for interfaces

2. AMS activities follow-up
- Ensure incidents are handled properly by the AMS team in terms of quality and delivery timelines, in line with SLAs
- Review ticket backlog with the AMS leader and help prioritize activities
- Escalate issues when required
- Organize weekly operational meetings with the AMS team
- Prepare KPIs and dashboards for support activities and overall AMS performance
- Organize monthly AMS activity reviews
- Ensure procedures are up to date and followed
- Ensure corrections are properly tested and documented
- Ensure monitoring activities are properly executed, including jobs and licences
- Help prioritize enhancements
- Ensure validated evolutions are delivered as planned, properly tested, and documented
- Support the organization of non-regression tests with the AMS team

3. Communication
- Organize communication regarding maintenance, service disruption, and enhancements

4. Training
- Support end-user training topics when requested

5. Documentation
- Ensure documents are updated following any changes applied by AMS in the application or at interface level
