Infrastructure Project Manager

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure project delivery according to schedule, budget, scope and quality
• Define project timeline and milestones
• Manage delivery-related risks and issues
• Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between different sub-projects
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices across projects
• Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors
• Proactively propose technical solutions and innovations
• Report progress, issues and risks to the customer and program manager

Secondary tasks and responsibilities

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks
• Deploy and maintain active and consistent communication with different stakeholders
• Manage conflicts in both technical and non-technical contexts
• Facilitate the operational functioning of project groups and other stakeholders
• Define roles and responsibilities of project teams and stakeholders
• Follow up on changes and customer feedback related to deliverables on a continuous basis
• Handle people management, team coaching and training

Technical requirements

• Experience in project management of infrastructure-related projects
• Strong experience with hybrid cloud migration, federated identity implementation and secure access management

Methodology / certification requirements

• Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience
• More than 5 years of experience in project management in the IT sector, in infrastructure and operations environments
• Expert knowledge of complex systems integration
• Very good knowledge of one or more of the following concepts or technologies: application migration to cloud, implementation of federated identity, access management
• Agile mindset
• PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent certification / experience

Language proficiencies

• French and Dutch
• English
