IT Manager

For one of our clients, a leading international technology and industrial group, Sparagus is looking for an experienced IS/IT Manager to lead and further develop its IT organization in Belgium.

📍 Location: Transversal role – Wallonia & Brussels, Belgium (4days on site & 1day remote per week)

In this strategic and operational position, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation, evolution, reliability and security of the company’s information systems. You will lead an IS/IT team composed of internal employees and consultants while ensuring efficient and high-quality IT services across the organization.

Your responsibilities

You will lead, coach and develop the IS/IT team while managing resources, priorities, objectives and planning.

You will oversee IT budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and related reporting, coordinate strategic and operational IT projects, manage external service providers and calls for tenders, and supervise infrastructure, licenses, maintenance and upgrades.

You will also develop and implement IT policies and best practices, support the organization through IT transformation and change initiatives, and work closely with different departments to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

A key part of the role will also be identifying vulnerabilities, improving security, productivity and efficiency, and maintaining a strong technological watch to identify relevant new technologies.

Your profile

You have 10+ years of experience in a similar IS/IT management role, combined with a strong technical background.

You have proven experience with cybersecurity and security standards, project management, infrastructure and development projects.

Experience with Agile methodologies and within an international organization is considered a strong asset.

You are a strong people manager with excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment and collaborating with internal teams, management and external partners.
