You will join a team of more than 250 colleagues specialised in the design, development, production, and supply of weapon systems and ammunition for Defence (MoD), Aerospace (OEM), and Land (OEM) sectors. The group employs 2,000 people across 9 sites in Belgium.

Your Mission

PSO is part of the PMO team. As a PSO, you will be responsible for supporting project managers with their reporting duties. You will coordinate with various departments (Bids & Projects, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Engineering) to consolidate data. You will also be responsible for maintaining and creating certain Power BI reports.

Depending on your level of experience, you will either support senior project managers or take on the responsibility of managing and coordinating the actions of the Project Management Office across different domains of Bid/Project Management.

Main Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Assist project manager(s) in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects

• Support scheduling and resource allocation for projects

• Participate as needed in progress meetings and bid/project reviews to capture relevant information

• Produce and analyse data mainly related to revenues, milestones, cashflow, actuals, and estimated at completion

• Contribute to the adjustment of processes, instructions, and guidelines to the context of the offer or project

Documentation and Knowledge Management

• Support project managers with project documentation

• Ensure project documentation is completed, stored, and easily accessible

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Reporting and Communication

• Develop and distribute project status reports to stakeholders

• Maintain effective communication channels among team members

Tool Management

• Maintain and support the use of PMO tools

• Help implement new tools

• Maintain and create new Power BI reports

Profile

We are looking for candidates at different stages of their careers.

Junior PSO Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or computer science

• You have already acquired some experience as a PSO, PMO, or PM

• You have good knowledge of Power BI

• You are analytical, autonomous, and rigorous, with an ability linked to innovation

Medior/Senior PSO Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in science or a master’s degree in engineering

• You have acquired strong experience as a PSO, PMO, or (W)PM in an international and technically demanding environment (minimum 5 years)

• You have good knowledge of MS Project

Common Requirements for All Levels

• You are able to merge data in order to present and explain it in a synthetic manner

• You have strong oral and written communication skills

• You are curious to discover new tools and open to using any PPM tools. A background in PPM tools (Planisware, PlanView, etc.) is considered an asset

• You are fluent in both French and English (read, written, and spoken)
