Position Overview

Sissine’s Office Systems is seeking a qualified Software Technician to install, configure, maintain, and support print management and document management software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, operating systems, multifunction printers, scanners, and software deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support print and document management software.
• Configure multifunction printers, scanners, network appliances, and related hardware.
• Install and troubleshoot software on Windows and macOS computers.
• Install and configure printer drivers, network folder shares, and scanning destinations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, printing, scanning, and document workflow issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot network protocols and services.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal service personnel.

Supported Applications and Technologies

The candidate should have experience with one or more of the following applications and platforms:

• Canon uniFLOW
• PaperCut MF and PaperCut Hive
• Kyocera Net Viewer and HyPAS applications
• Lexmark Fleet Services
• EtherFax / CoreFax
• Ricoh Smart Integration

Required Technical QualificationsPrinter and Scanner Configuration

Must have experience configuring and troubleshooting printers, multifunction devices, and scanners from the following manufacturers:

• Canon
• Lexmark
• Ricoh
• Kyocera
• HP

Operating Systems and Software Installation

Must be proficient in Windows and macOS environments, including:

• Installing and troubleshooting software applications.
• Installing and configuring printer drivers.
• Creating and configuring network folder shares.
• Setting up scan-to-folder and related document workflows.
• Troubleshooting operating system and application compatibility issues.

Networking and Protocols

Must demonstrate proficiency with common network protocols and services, including:

• SMTP
• SNMP
• FTP
• Telnet
• TWAIN
• TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting

Network Appliances and Devices

Must have experience configuring and troubleshooting network-connected equipment, including:

• Wi-Fi routers and wireless extenders.
• Network scanners and multifunction printers.
• Network connectivity and device communication settings.
• IP addresses, DNS, gateways, and other basic network configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Experience supporting print management and document workflow solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience providing onsite and remote technical support.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
