Key Requirements And Responsibilities For This Role Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO):

 Proficient in managing and maintaining Active Directory, including creating and managing security

groups.

 Experienced in implementing and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects for efficient system configuration.

 Proficient in managing Windows Server Infrastructure (2016/2019/2022).

 Experience with Microsoft Office, Office365, Active Directory, File Clusters, and Print Servers.

Vulnerability Assessment And Security Frameworks  Thorough knowledge of conducting vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security

risks.

 Familiar with security frameworks such as CIS and NIST guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry

standards.

 Previous knowledge of implementation of Zero-Trust architecture.

 Implement and administrate endpoint security tools, including EDR solutions.

Cloud Services  Solid understanding and practical experience in utilizing Azure services for cloud-based solutions.

 Proficient in deploying and managing resources on the Azure platform.

Virtualization  Skilled in virtualization technologies, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of virtual

environments.

 Extensive experience in optimizing virtual resources to enhance overall system performance.

Asset Management  Well-versed in asset management practices, including tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management of

IT assets.

 Skilled in implementing efficient asset management systems for improved organizational efficiency.

Scripting And Automation  Experience interpreting, writing, and debugging PowerShell scripts for automation.

Responsibilities System Maintenance:

 Maintain Operating System baselines for Windows Servers and Workstations.

 Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Enhancements And Recommendations  Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.

 Install, upgrade/patch, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform configuration management.

Security Implementation  Implement hardened settings to improve the security posture of endpoints.

 Restrict the use of local admin accounts and implement the least privilege principle.

Support And Diagnostics  Provide support to technical staff in diagnosing and correcting system-related failures.

 Determine logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems.

Disaster Recovery And Replication  Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies.

 Configure and maintain replication processes for critical systems.

Academic QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's (BS) degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.

 Certification in a related field (Security +, MSA, MCSE) would be considered a plus.

 Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-900, AZ104) will be considered a plus.

Desired Skills  Working knowledge of CIS controls.

 General knowledge of Cloud technologies, such as Office 365

Minimum Experience 10 years of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Group
