Job Overview

We are seeking a Waiter / Waitress to join our growing front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, interacting with guests, and working in a wine-focused environment. While prior wine knowledge is an advantage, a strong willingness to learn and genuine interest in service and wine are essential.

You will work closely with our sommeliers and management team, gaining exposure to high-quality wines and professional service standards in a dynamic, late-night setting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or wine bar is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Interest in wine and willingness to learn
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts according to opening hours
• Good command of spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist guests with wine selections and relay recommendations from the sommelier team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
• Support daily FOH operations and uphold Silène’s service standards
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
