AutoCAD Engineer / CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop and update 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using CAD software.
• Exposure to Creo / NX / SolidWorks will be an advantage.
• Convert 3D models into manufacturing-ready 2D drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain BOM, drawing documentation and engineering records.
• Support new product development, design changes and engineering modifications.
• Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, GD&T, manufacturability and design standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Process Engineering and NPD teams for design feasibility.
• Support preparation of drawings for automotive components, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
• Incorporate customer requirements and engineering changes into drawings.
• Participate in design reviews, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain drawing revisions and ensure proper documentation control.
• Support prototype development and manufacturing trials.
